In order to be a member of the Silent Bible Baptist Church, you must agree to fulfill this covenant to the best of your ability being led and convicted by the Spirit of God.

Silent Bible Baptist Church

“Church Covenant”
(A contract between God, other church members and you)

We believe that we have been led by the Holy Spirit of God, and received the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, and have followed Him in baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We wish to make a covenant with this church in the presence of God, angels and this church. We are being serious, honorable, humble with much joy having a desire to be in unity with one another, as the body of Christ.

We promise, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to work together in Christian love with all the members of this church.

We will work hard at trying to help everyone improve in knowledge, holiness, and be of comfort and help to others in our ministry.

We will also be a part in helping this church become a success, and keep others in spiritual balance, and to not remove our attendance to worship or remove the two ordinances (Baptism and the Lord’s supper) from this church.

We promise also to keep ourselves disciplined, and to honor the Baptist doctrines (What we believe and teach) stated in the Four Instruments of this church.

We promise also to give of our tithes and offerings to this church as God has commanded us, cheerfully, regularly, and faithfully, to support this ministry, and the pastor of this church, it’s expenses, it’s missionaries, and when necessary the poor.

We will do our very best and expect no less from anyone else who is a member of this church to follow Jesus and honor God using the King James Bible as our final authority.
