PRAYER REQUESTS  Of those within (Members) SBBC

Future of SBBC – With many of us getting old getting older, we wish to see more young deaf get involved with the ministry here at SBBC in the Wichita Metro area. Please pray that deaf men will stand up for God and His Son Jesus Christ and take on the great commission our Lord has given them.

Bro. Ron Wilcoxson – for healing of his right wrist fracture after falling at work.

Ed Johnson – Our church treasurer and Head usher Bro. Ed has had some issues with his heart and we ask that you pray for him  and the doctors to figure out what is causing his heart issues.

Ava Wolfe and Family – A daughter in law had committed suicide and asked for God’s people to pray for the husband and family as they mourn for their loss.

Hazel Nichols – Bro. Ron’s aunt needs your prayers for strength to take care of uncle Kendall who has sugar diabetes and struggling with his health.

Elsie Muck (Ron’s aunt) – Elsie had fell and  broke her arm just below the shoulder socket after a morning pulling weeds. Pray for her comfort and recovery from the fall.

SBBC Shut-ins – We have two deaf ladies who are members of our church that are confined to a nursing home because of their health. We are picking them up for church on Sundays and they enjoy coming. We also have another deaf lady and member of SBBC who has her brother pick her up and bring her to church when possible. He lives in West Wichita, drives to Whitewater, Ks. where she lives and he brings her to our church. Pray for their safety in driving to and from church.

Members of SBBC – We ask that you pray for our members that come for spiritual growth and maturity as we prepare the deaf bride of Christ to meet Him in the air.

Tom Stevens – Tom has just a red spot on his leg stump. Pray that it doesn’t get worse.

Bro. Kenneth Jr. Wilcoxson – Health and recovery from sepsis and spiritual growth

David Wilcoxson family – Potter’s Hands Baptist Deaf Church has been recently dissolved and prayer for the family is requested. Prayer for Bro. David and his family as they have several issues to deal with in their family.

The Family of Ronnie Rice – Saturday July 2nd, we lost our dear deaf  brother in Christ Ronnie Rice. Please pray for Bro. Rice’s family as they grieve and allow the Holy Spirit to fill them with comfort and the power of God to allow them to continue to minister in the kingdom.

Deaf men of the world – To realize the importance of God in their life and what a change they can make in their lives when they have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and do as He commands… “Go ye therefore and teach all nations” and “Feed my sheep.”
